On June 13, 2026, ahead of World Sickle Cell Day, we gathered at the CKUA Radio Network building in Edmonton for our fourth annual World Sickle Cell Day Brunch.
The afternoon brought together warriors, caregivers, clinicians and friends for a buffet, a psychologist-led warrior panel, and portraits by Be My Guest, in a room styled in yellow and white.
It was also a goodbye, for now. After four brunches, from 2023 to 2026, the series is coming to a close while we focus on new ways to gather. Thank you to everyone who filled these rooms.
